On January 27, 2018, Lung Tin won the "2017 Outstanding IP Service Team In China" again in “The 8th China IP International Annual Forum and 2018 Annual Conference of In-House IP Managers in China”, an annual IP event hosted by China Intellectual Property magazine in Beijing. Lung Tin’s deputy general manager, Mr. Yu Shun was invited to deliver a speech and accepted the organizer’s interview.
With the theme of "transformation", the conference focuses on the return of the enterprise’s intellectual property value, and attracts over 600 participants including officials, experts and scholars, representatives of IP service agencies and intellectual property managers from hundreds of enterprises all over the world such as China, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil, etc.
Mr. Liu Chuntian, President of China Intellectual Property Law Research Institute, Mr. Lin Guanghai, Vice President of Intellectual Property Court of the Supreme People's Court, and Mr. Ma Hao, President of International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) attended the conference and delivered the opening speeches. Experts and scholars from both academic and practical fields took stock of 2017’s hot spots, trends and standards concerning intellectual property administration, legislation and judiciary in China. They also forecasted IP trends in China in 2018, and jointly explored a new IP and innovation-driven development path home and abroad.
"2017 Outstanding IP Service Team in China", "2017 Outstanding IP Manager in China" and "2017 Outstanding Enterprise IP Management Team in China" and some other important awards were announced at the award ceremony. Dr. Xu Qinghong, Board director of Lung Tin, was invited to present the award of "2017 Outstanding IP Manager in China". Lung Tin, as expected, stood out from many participating IP agencies, won the "2017 Outstanding IP Service Team In China".
On the forum, the deputy general manager Mr. Yu Shun was invited to speak on "the Win-win Cooperation Between Agencies and Enterprises Under the Patent Quality Improvement Project". After the speech, he accepted the organizer’s interview.
Among all exhibition stands, our book “Attorney’s Perspectives on IP Practice (Second Series)” written by Lung Tin attorneys, and pamphlets collected Lung Tin representative IP litigation cases and patent invalidation cases in 2016, were the most popularly distributions during the conference, which were frequently pursued by in-house counsels and led to a temporary shortage on site.
