Lung Tin Launched Four Live Lectures on Overseas Patent Filings

In collaboration with IncoPat's training program, Lung Tin launched four live lectures on Overseas Patent Filings recently. 

 

On October 15, the first course entitled "Design Patent Practice under the Hague System" was lectured by Ms. Yan Huang, focusing on introducing the filing statistics, the overall system and preparing the applications for design patents under the Hague system.

 

 

On October 22, 2020, the second course entitled "Novelty, Inventiveness, and Examination & Trial Examples under Japanese Patent Law" was lectured by Dr. Chunshi Feng, focusing on defining novelty and inventiveness in Japanese Patent Law, a comparison of novelty and inventiveness between China and Japan, and examination and trial examples in Japan.

 

 

On October 29, 2020, the third course entitled "International Protection for Patents and Comparison of Patent Practice Between China and U.S." was lectured by Ms. Xiujuan Cheng, focusing on introducing PCT applications, overseas patent filing strategy, PCT vs. Paris Convention, and the special features of patent filing procedures in the U.S.

 

 

 

On November 5, 2020, the fourth course entitled "Responding OA in U.S." was lectured by Ms. Haixia Shi, focusing on introducing the U.S. patent practices on 35 U.S.C. 101, 35 U.S.C. 112, Restriction Requirement, and Double Patenting.
