From August 24th to 25th, 2023, the China Intellectual Property and Innovation Summit (CIPIS), hosted by Conways Asia, was grandly held in Shenzhen, China. Mr. Jacob (Siyue) Zhang, partner and deputy general manager of Lung Tin, and Ms. Boya Yin, partner and deputy manager of the Trademark Department of Lung Tin, attended the summit. At the same time, Lung Tin set up a booth at the venue and had in-depth communication and extensive exchanges with intellectual property leaders from enterprises nationwide.

 

This summit centered on topics such as artificial intelligence compliance affairs, international innovation of corporate IP, trademark protection strategies under globalization, global competition in the SEP field, transnational technology transfer, trade secret protection, IP talent management, etc., involving hot industries and fields such as artificial intelligence, software, integrated circuits, digital innovation. The venue was bustling with guests from the intellectual property industry gathered from nationwide to discuss and exchange ideas, contributing to this intellectual property feast.

 

 

During the summit, to facilitate exchanges and communication with guests in intellectual property industry, Lung Tin set up a booth at the venue to share and discuss Lung Tin’s thoughts on practical issues of intellectual property rights and practical experience in handling cases. Detailed answers were given to issues concerning patents and trademark infringement and protection that enterprises care about. The atmosphere at the booth was very lively.
