Lung Tin’s 30th Anniversary Gala Held in Beijing Shangri-La Hotel

On the evening of October 18, 2024, Lung Tin held a gala to celebrate our 30th anniversary at the Beijing Shangri-La Hotel. Experts, scholars, and IP heads from various countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Australia, Chinese Mainland, and Taiwan, gathered to witness this milestone event.
 
Before the main event, guests explored an exhibition hall displaying Lung Tin’s development milestones, signed the commemorative wall, enjoyed traditional handicraft displays, took photos, and viewed a wall featuring logos of Lung Tin’s partner. The hall’s dynamic and creative design provided guests with an immersive and memorable experience.

     

 

     

 

The gala opened with a mesmerizing sand art performance, illustrating Lung Tin's journey under the theme of “United in Harmony, Striving for Excellence.” Following this performance, the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Lung Tin officially commenced.

 

 

Lung Tin’s Chairman, Mr. Tai Keung Cheng, delivered the opening speech, followed by congratulatory messages from distinguished leaders and guests: Mr. Lipu Tian, Former Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA); Mr. Dongping Wu, Secretary General of the China Trademark Association (CTA); Ms. Jianjia Zhang, Director of the General Affairs Department of China Intellectual Property Society; and Mr. Zhong Du, Executive Director and Secretary General of the Beijing Patent Attorneys Association (BJPAA). Each extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for Lung Tin’s future.

During the opening remarks, Mr. Chae Seung Beom, teamleader at LS Electric, took the stage to extend his congratulations and gratitude for the years of outstanding service that Lung Tin has provided to LS Electric. He presented a specially customized gift to Lung Tin as a token of appreciation.

 

     

 

Following the speeches, Chairman Cheng invited Mr. Lipu Tian to join him for a toast. All guests raised their glasses together, celebrating Lung Tin’s 30th anniversary.
 
The evening's festivities kicked off with a vibrant and dynamic Dragon-Lion Dance performance, rich with cultural heritage. Mr. Lipu Tian and Chairman Cheng took to the stage to perform the traditional “dotting of the eyes,” breathing life into the two majestic dragons.

 

     

 

Those Dragon-Lions leaps and bounds, showcasing Lung Tin's indomitable spirit and courage.

 

Lung Tin specially invited the National Charm Orchestra to perform two classic pieces, Xiang Wang Xing and Shui Long Yin, allowing international guests to indulge in the essence of Chinese musical heritage. This performance conveyed the wisdom and emotion embedded in Chinese culture, which has thrived over millennia.

 

 

The acrobatic performance Spinning Plates captivated the audience with thrilling stunts and intricate techniques, symbolizing Lung Tin’s dedication to mastering skills and delivering exceptional service to clients, continually striving for excellence.

 

 

Heroes Behind the Fan transported guests into a mystical martial arts realm, where the swift, graceful movements of the fan evoked the image of Lung Tin’s team pushing forward and fighting tenaciously on our own professional battleground.

 

The Sichuan Opera act Mask Changing, a treasured art form, featured the rapid shifts of vibrant masks, each representing different emotions and roles, symbolizing Lung Tin’s adaptability and innovation in a dynamic market.

 

The Korean dance performance, Fan Dance and Drum Chant: Love for Arirang, though performed by Lung Tin employees rather than professionals, radiated heartfelt emotion. Despite busy schedules, employees dedicated time to rehearse this piece, pouring their passion into creating a tribute for Lung Tin’s 30th anniversary.

 

     

 

The operatic solo O Mio Babbino Caro evoked a profound commitment to the firm’s original values, reflecting Lung Tin’s dedication to facing challenges and seizing opportunities with unwavering resolve.

The Scottish dance Atholl Highlanders highlighted the unique charm of Scottish culture, celebrating a shared pursuit of happiness and beauty. This performance honored Lung Tin’s diverse clientele and partners, with whom they cherish long-lasting friendships.

 

 

Finally, the Mongolian dance White Horse evoked the free-spirited atmosphere of the grasslands, celebrating bravery, resilience, and an enduring love for life, mirroring the strength and spirit of Lung Tin’s journey over three decades.

 

 

The celebration then transitioned into the most heartwarming moments—the Imbuing ceremony. Lung Tin’s Chairman Mr. Tai Keung Cheng, Directors Mr. Yong Xiang and Dr. Qinghong Xu, General Manager Mr. Shun Yu, Deputy General Manager Mr. Jacob Zhang, and Managing Partner of Lung Tin Law Firm, Dr. Bo Xu, stepped onto the stage as performers in Mongolian attire presented them with traditional khata scarves.
 
The partners then poured clear water, symbolizing blessings and aspirations, onto a small tree representing "Lung Tin," witnessing its growth alongside the attendees until it becomes a towering tree.

 

Next, Assistant to the Chairman Ms. Li Zheng, Assistant General Managers Ms. Yan Huang and Ms. Huiquan Nie, Trademark Business Director Ms. Di Wu, Director of Lung Tin Japanese Office Mr. Lin Chen, Korean Business Director Mr. Bingzhe Cui, and Chief Executive Officer of Lung Tin IP Value Inc., Mr. Lin Yuqing joined the partners to extend their appreciation to the guests.

 

 

 
Finally, Lung Tin staff representatives performed two classic songs, Walking Towards the Light and Auld Lang Syne, igniting a final wave of unity and emotion and bringing the celebration to a perfect close. Their resonant voices sang out the Lung Tin family’s camaraderie and love, their passion for the firm, and their dreams for the future.

     

 

     

 

As the harmonious music faded, the curtain gently closed on Lung Tin’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. Yet, the attendees lingered, raising their glasses and savoring the unforgettable evening.
